This year’s AGM will focus on issues surrounding the governance of public lands in British Columbia. Our special guest speakers will be two members of the Public Land Use Society (PLUS), an organization that advocates for fair and transparent land-use policies in B.C.
Warren Mirko and Geoffrey Moyse, KC will provide their insights on how British Columbia is quietly experiencing a major shift in how public land is governed. This shift could have implications for waterfront owners, including new moratoriums on docks, permit restrictions and uncertainty over who ultimately has final authority in British Columbia.
